“Jace, what‘s going on? I saw your body with my own eyes. How did you survive?” Freya asked Jace as she pulled him and made him sit beside her. 

Jace saw his mother‘s graying hair and wrinkles at the corner of her eyes. He felt that she had aged a lot in the past six months.

He asked, “Did you touch the corpse in the morgue?”

“When you go back, everyone will ask who saved you. Don‘t tell others about us, but you don‘t have to hide it from your mother. We‘ll meet sooner or later anyway. Tell her earlier and let her be mentally prepared. We don‘t want to scare her when we meet later.”
