Chapter 817 After a short moment, he burst into a series of curses.
Sage moved the phone to the side and listened to Luther‘s rant. This helped turn her depressing mood for the better. “Why didn‘t anyone tell me? Why am I always the last to know? Am I not a part of this family? Am I not worthy?” Luther was very angry and full of doubts. Sage said, “You have to ask Tim because he also lied to me and refused to tell me. Kane too! They‘re all in the same team!”
“This is so annoying! They can‘t just bully the youngest in the family because they‘re the eldest. I have to tell Seth and Nigel!” Luther hung up the phone with a crying voice and went to Seth and Nigel to complain.
Sage looked at the ended call and sighed quietly. Her brother Luther was just silly. He did not even think about it. If he knew that Mom and Dad were alive, why would Seth and Nigel not know?
Luther still had not realized that he was the last to know. No, that was not right. No one had told Sage either. It seemed like Sage ranked last in the family. What a sad reality.
Sage rested her chin on the back of the chair and fell into a gloomy mood for a while. Soon, Freya and Jace came out of the room. The atmosphere between the two was very harmonious.
“Sage.” Freya held out her hand to Sage. Sage rose from the chair and took her hand. She greeted, “Aunt Freya.”
Freya looked at Sage with a loving face. “Thank you for bringing my son back to me,” she said and put Sage‘s hand on Jace‘s. Sage was slightly startled. When she raised her head, her eyes met with Jace‘s bright eyes. His dark eyes dazzled in the warm sunset.

Freya did not say much. She winked at Roy, and the two of them walked out of the courtyard.
Sage and Jace were left alone in the large courtyard. A patch of yellow and orange spring flowers bloomed beautifully, symbolizing hope.
Jace‘s hand was warm and no longer as cold as earlier. Instead, her hand was a little cold. Sage tried to withdraw her hand, but Jace clutched it. She looked up at him again.
Jace gazed intently at Sage. Just as he was about to say something, they heard someone shouting from the outer courtyard. “Where‘s Jace? Where is he?”
Only Yoel could be that loud.
When they were interrupted, Sage withdrew her hand from Jace‘s palm. Then, she saw Yoel walk in fiercely. Yoel was not alone. Cole came too.
