"Cassie... seems interested in you." After a moment's hesitation, Melody decided to be honest. She reminded herself of Ophelia and Tiffany's words—she was Jeremy's fiancée and had every right to ask.
Besides, the way Cassie had looked at Jeremy made Melody feel uncomfortable. It was as if she saw him as prey.
She waited nervously for Jeremy's response, unsure if he'd agree. But to her surprise, Jeremy nodded and replied, "Fine. Arrange it however you want."
Melody felt relieved and somewhat surprised by how easily he agreed to it.
When Cassie found out, she accepted it without any objection. She glanced at Melody with a knowing smile. "Miss, this must be your first trip with Dr. Chesson, right?"
Melody didn't like her tone and corrected her, saying, "Call me Ms. Wardolf, please."
Cassie smoothly corrected herself and slightly raised an eyebrow. "Alright, Ms. Wardolf. Would you like to make a bet? Within one day, you'll be asking for me again."
Melody pressed her lips together and didn't reply.
But later that afternoon, she finally understood why Cassie had been so confident.
Jeremy lost his temper. He threw his clothes onto the floor and said in a cold voice, "Who said you could touch my clothes?"
Melody was checking the photos Alexis had sent. She looked up in surprise and quickly explained, "It was the concierge."
Jeremy's expression darkened further as he called the new concierge up to their room immediately. He then pointed at the scattered clothes and said, "Get rid of them all."
Melody's eyes widened in shock. "Why?"
