Melody nodded. Taking a deep breath, she said softly, "Understood."

Charles let out a sigh of relief. At first, he was a little worried that she might press for a reason behind his decision or adamantly refuse to be suspended.

After Melody walked out of the office, he was about to get up as well, only to be stopped by Jeremy, who asked him, "Why did you suspend her?"
