“You haven’t brought Michael to visit me for a long time. Can’t I ask you to come over?” 

Hearing this, Chloe felt a little guilty. 

Wendy’s mental condition fluctuated, with periods of improvement and decline, and there hadn’t been much progress even after she had been hospitalized for several years. 

“I’ll go there tomorrow.”

She turned around and saw Chloe. Then, she immediately threw away the cards and walked toward Chloe. 

Seeing that she was alone, Wendy asked, “Where’s Michael? Why didn’t he come with you?” 

Chloe felt depressed. “He has a flight today and can’t leave.”
