Chapter 59 Going Overboard
Leah raised her delicate eyebrows and took a step closer to Maria.
"Why are you speaking so loudly? Are you afraid that everyone won't know that Miss Foster is a shameless homewrecker who stole someone else's partner?"
Maria furrowed her brows tightly. "You..."
Before she could finish her sentence, Leah interrupted her. "Do you want me to help you? Should I shout even louder and gather everyone here to witness it?"
"Miss Wilson, you and Quentin are already divorced. Why do you have to make things difficult for me again? Quentin and I truly love each other," Sharon's eyes welled up with tears, and she looked at Quentin with a look of grievance. "Quentin, although Miss Wilson's tone is a bit aggressive, it doesn't matter. For you, I don't mind enduring any hardship."
Quentin wore a frown and cast a slightly cold look at Leah.
"Leah, don't push your luck."
Leah rolled her eyes without hesitation.
"Did I strike a nerve? I was sitting here, minding my own business, but someone came looking for trouble first! Quentin, I'm warning you. If you don't want me to publicly expose your extramarital affairs with Miss Foster right here, then stay away from me. Otherwise, don't blame me for resorting to drastic measures!"
With that, she casually returned to the sofa, eating her dessert as if Quentin and the others were invisible to her.
Seeing Quentin's displeased expression, Sharon hesitated but still focused her gaze on Leah. She felt a growing unease and reached out to tug at Quentin's arm.
"Quentin, let's go. Let's not disturb Miss Wilson's meal."
Quentin gave Leah a look, pulled his arm away from Sharon's grasp, and swiftly left the spot.
As her arm was left hanging, Sharon felt a deep sense of resentment.
