Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate novel Chapter 89

Ryan looked at me as if he expected this question. It was obvious I would ask him that. Priorities kept changing in our world.

So does the power dynamics and if Ryan was telling me this, it was obvious that he had ulterior motives.

“Ella, I know that you are right. It’s hard to believe me. And given that I am Alpha Rambo’s son, believing me becomes so hard. But you have to trust me, I have nothing. Nothing to do or nothing to say. I only have my words and only time can prove to you where my loyalties lie. You have to trust me and that is my stance.” He said.

I looked at him for a moment and weighed my options. It's true that he had nothing but I have a lingering feeling he does want something from me. If he was betraying his father there must be something he wanted from me or my pack.

He was not doing this from the goodness of his heart.

I knew it from my heart.

“What is his plan? Why does he want to kill me? And if he really wants to kill me, why did he organize this Alpha conference? He could have just called my pack and things would have been so easy.” I asked him. These questions were troubling me.

If his main intention was to kill me then why go so far to organize a conference where many eyes would be on him. Why take that risk.

This was so confusing.

“Things are not that simple. Yes he wants to kill you but that’s not his only motive. He has bigger plans. He organized this Alpha conference not because he wants to attack you or wants to meet like minded people. No, he organized this conference because he wants to weaken the other packs. No peace, only war.”

I stared at Ryan, trying to process what he had just told me. The Alpha conference, a gathering meant to solidify peace and unity among the packs, was meant to be turned into a battlefield by his father. The Moonlake Pack, already one of the most powerful, would grow even stronger by inciting chaos.
