Begging the Divorced Heiresses Back novel Chapter 13

Anya’s POV:

As I looked at Evan's calm face, I wanted to slap him hard in the face!

As I was cursing Evan in my heart, my father’s impatience voice fell into my ear.

“Anya, if you sign in, I will let you be the chairman. However, I must warn you that I don’t think you can fulfil that promise. By then, you will lose everything and bring more shame to the whole Walter family. Then that time comes. I will cut off from you as well. Of course, if you give up the shares right now, you will still my beloved daughter. And as your father, I will certainly treat you well!”

It would not need to be genius to know what he was implying.

He was threatening me, that if I was determined to replace him, then he would cut off the father-daughter relationship between us.

Suddenly, I felt a chill rising in my heart for no reason!

First, it was the obstruction from my ex-husband, and now my father started morally blackmailing me as well.

This is certainly a tough moment!

“Fine. I will sign it.However, I have a request. I need all shareholders to be completely cooperative with my work!” I said, taking a deep breath.

Hearing my words, Mr. White and Mr. Patel nodded enthusiastically. “Of course, you are the biggest shareholder anyway. Of course, you will listen to you!”

“Well, it seemed that at least you’ve got some balls. Alright, I’m going now that the meeting is over. Tomorrow, I’ll have my lawyer send over the bet on agreement.” Evans said, sneering.

Looking at the evil smile in his eyes, I couldn’t help but feel a chill on my back. The way he looked at me was like a hunter was looking at his prey.

Then, he stood up and left the meeting room, leaving everyone behind as if he was the boss.

Then, Mr. White and Mr. Patel also stood up and shook hands with me. “We believe in you, Miss Walter. We expect you to lead the Walter Group to another level!”

I smiled, “I hope we all find working together enjoyable!”

Ignoring my words, my father snorted and walked out of the meeting room in anger.

Frank’s POV:

As I walked downstairs, Mia and my two sons hurried over.

“Honey, how is it going?” Mia asked.

I heaved a long sigh as I said, “Forget about it. Let’s go home first!” Saying that I walked over.

Mia hastily caught up with me as he asked, “So how did the meeting go? Anya still won’t give up her shares?”

“This wrenched girl not only refused to give up her shares, but she wants to kick all of us out. I have already been fired by her!” I sputtered, taking my inhaler from my pocket and spraying it down to my throat.

Anya might be my daughter, but deep down, I have never taken her as my family. I had never loved or cared about her.

First, Anya was just an independent child, who didn’t need my concern at all. And over time, I almost forget that she is also my daughter.
