Looking at Anya, who came out of the bathroom in disheveled clothes and red eyes, my face turned ghostly white!
After all, it didn’t need to be a genius to know what happened back in the bathroom, after looking at her.
The thing I dreaded the most happened at last.
Evan had never fully forgotten Anya and I know it.
I tried my best to hide the hatred in my eyes, as Evan was still there, and I didn’t want to ruin my image in his eyes.
However, I clenched my fists and thought to myself, ‘I will not give that bitch a chance to flirt with Evan again!’
Frowning, Anya looked at me and asked, “What are you doing?”
However, I merely snake. Then, I turned around and slammed my head against the wall. In an instant, my forehead was swollen.
Then, I collapsed on the floor and started moaning, “Ouch! It’s hurt. Don’t hit me, Anya! Please help!”
And as I expected, Evan heard my voice and rushed inside in a hurry.
Then, he walked up to me and asked, “What’s going on?”
I held my head, looked at Anya in horror, and said weekly, “Anya, she hits me! She just hits me!”
Evan looked at my forehead and examined my wound.
“It hurts!” I sobbed, looking at him pitifully.
Evan was fully convinced by me. He then looked at Anya and said coldly, “ Anya, Walter! How could you do that to Tina? She is your sister!”
Anya tried hard not to roll her eyes and said, “She hit the wall herself, and I never touched her. I had nothing to do with it.”
“Oh stop it! Do you think Tina is stupid? Why would she ran herself into the wall?”
“Fine, fine, what do you want the?” Anya asked, looking at us wearily. Her eyes were filled with disdain.
“I want you to apologize to Tina!”
Hearing that, Anya narrowed her eyes. Folding her arms in front of her chest, she looked at me and Evan coldly.
“This is no drama show. What’s the point of playing such little tricks?” she said icily.
I said nothing, but deep down, I was laughing.
There was no camera in the conference room. So, even if Anya was innocent, who would know?
What’s more, it didn’t matter at all what anyone else thought, as long as Evan believed it.
“Anya, I know you hate me and don’t want to see me. I will try not to show up while you are around. I can even forgive you for attacking me, but my face,” I cried as I turned to Evan, “Oh no, Evan, my face. Will I be disfigured?”
Evan stole a glance at the wound and tried to comfort me, “Its just a small cut. It will recover soon.”
“Oh, no,” I wailed, “But we are supposed to take wedding photos next month! How can I do that with the wound? Will there be a hideous scar?”
Evans frowned a little impersonally, but his voice was still gentle. “No, there will not be any scar trust me!”
Then, he turned and fixed his eye on Aanya as said coldly, “And if there is any scar, even the slightest, Anya Walter, I will cut your face for it.”
“Oh, for the last time, it’s not me! Believe it or not, I am going to work. You keep up with this… Well, whatever this is.”
Anya said as she was about to leave. However, her attitude made Evan more furious as he shouted, “Stop!”
“What now?” Anya glared back at Evan.
“I want you to apologize to Tina!” Evan said, with no temperature in his cold eyes.
