Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 167

Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 167

Rachel said expressionlessly, “I don’t have time. I don’t want to hear it.”

As she turned to leave, Louis grabbed her wrist. “Rachel, I know that our separation hurt you a lot, but I will try my best to make it up for you. Why won’t you give me a chance?”

“Why should I forgive you after you’ve apologized? Then I have to pretend that nothing has happened?” Rachel raised her eyes. Her gaze was cold, and the coldness pierced straight into Louis‘ eyes. She smiled sarcastically, “We will never reconcile!”

Louis looked at Rachel’s cold attitude and could not help but tighten his grip on her wrist. He secretly gritted his teeth and said in a cold voice, “Are you determined to be strangers with me?”

“What else could it be?” Rachel’s face showed a hint of mockery. “Do you want me to fall in love with you, go crazy with jealousy, and then wantonly take revenge on Olivia?”

Hearing her words, Louis‘ expression changed. “If you want to revenge, just come at me. Olivia is innocent!”

Rachel seemed to have heard a joke. She forcefully pried his fingers away and turned to leave.

Louis could not help but frown as he watched Rachel walk into the inner

venue.

“Since when did Rachel have such a close relationship with the Shain family?”

She could walk into the inner venue and sit at the banquet.

The wedding ceremony held by the Shain family seemed to have invited all the people with status in Seaxas.

However, it also cleverly distinguished the difference between them with

a screen.

The outer venue is an autonomous social area, while the inner venue is a banquet area.

Anyone who could enter the inner venue and attend the banquet was a noble among nobles.

The person guarding the door saw the argument between Rachel and Louis. He asked politely, “Miss Grey, do you need security to invite Mr. Smith away?”

To put it nicely, he was inviting him to leave. To put it bluntly, he was chasing them out.
