Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 184

Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 184

Rachel hung up and reimmersed herself in work.

When it was almost noon, Jessica and Mary barged into her office after filming the poster.

“Dear Ms. Grey, if you have time, let’s have a meal together?”

Rachel looked at the two people before her and smiled. “What do you want to eat?

“Hearing this, it seems that our rich and powerful Ms. Grey is going to give us a treat.” Mary raised her eyebrows at Jessica and said with a wicked smile, “Quickly think of how to rip her off.”

“There’s a kaiseki restaurant in the east of the city. Shall we go and try it out?” Jessica asked.

Mary said, “Let’s go!”

When the three of them went out, they specially waited for Linda.

Speaking of which, the four of them had been classmates since high school. Now that they could reunite, the atmosphere was harmonious and noisy.

Especially when they talked about their school days, it instantly resonated with everyone.

Even Linda, who had always been quiet, said, “Before I met Jessica, I always thought that she had become similar to the rumors, an out–and–out bad girl.”

When they were in middle school, Jessica wore exquisite makeup and dressed boldly. She often went to deplorable places like nightclubs.

She was proficient in smoking, drinking, fighting, and brawling.

When the hooligans around the school saw her, Jessica nodded and bowed submissively.

However, who would have thought that the turning point of fate would pull the two of them, who should not have interacted at all, together, and let this bad girl‘ in the eyes of others become her salvation in life?

Thinking of this, Linda quietly looked up at Jessica.

Coincidentally, she met Jessica’s gaze, and a hint of embarrassment appeared on her face at being caught looking.

“Jessica isn’t bad,” Mary said. “The one who is truly bad is your Ms. Grey! She’s evil!

As she spoke, she glanced at Rachel through the rearview mirror, her eyes sparkling meaningfully.
