Chapter 258 Not Now, Sooner Or Later! 

After a long while, Rachel said, “Before I met you, I always felt unlucky. Now I realize all my misfortunes and hardships were for meeting you.” 

In an instant, the blood in his body froze. 

A strange warm current slowly flowed from the bottom of David’s heart to his limbs and bones. He regained consciousness. 

However, his heart was beating uncontrollably faster. 

“Say that again.” David looked at Rachel with a burning gaze. 

Rachel refused to say anything else. 

Compared to words, she preferred the love buried deep in her heart. 

David did not give up. He held her face and kissed it fiercely. “Rae–Rae, can you repeat it for me?” 

He was like a clingy golden retriever, rubbing against Rachel’s neck.

“David, sit down.” Rachel could not stand David’s badgering. 

However, David hugged her tightly. “I won’t unless you repeat it to me.” 

Rachel said nothing.

David buried his head in her neck. His warm breath brushed the skin on her neck, and a numbing and itchy feeling spread to her limbs and bones. 

“Get up quickly.” Rachel pushed his head in embarrassment. 

However, David did not move at all. The hand on her waist could not help but tighten. “I won’t let go until you tell me.” 

“So you’re not going to work in the afternoon?!” 

“The most important thing is to accompany my wife.”

After Rachel was sent back to her apartment, David touched her face. “I’l pick you up tomorrow night.” 

“Alright.” Rachel said, “Be careful on the road.” 

“Don’t worry.” 

Seeing David walk to the elevator, Rachel closed the door. 

She changed her clothes and slowly walked into the bathroom. 

The warm water wrapped around her body like silk, instantly wiping away her fatigue. 

At this moment, her phone rang. It was a call from Darcy.
