Chapter 324
Rachel pursed her lips and frowned in frustration.
A man and a woman being in the same room alone was already enough to cause a misunderstanding. Now that Old Mrs. Jones had locked them up, everyone would think that they had done the deed even if they did not do anything.
“What do we do now?” Rachel asked as she looked at David awkwardly.
David looked down at her. His thin lips curled up slightly and said, “Since, Grandma has the intention to help us, how can I let her down?”
Upon hearing this, Rachel struggled free from David’s embrace.
This man was not standing on ceremony at all!
It wasn’t that she refused to get intimate with David, but she felt that their development was too fast.
She wasn’t completely ready to give herself to him.
David could tell that Rachel wanted to escape. He stretched out his slender legs and pressed them on her body. He used his hands and feet to completely restrain her in his arms. There was no way to retreat.
Rachel’s body was stiff. “David, let go of me…”
“I can’t bear to let go of a beauty like you.”
Rachel was at a loss for words.
The man’s cold aura enveloped her. Even her breathing was engulfed by his
unique scent.
With the hand that was resting on his chest, she could feel the temperature of David through the fabric of his clothes.
David sensed the nervousness of the woman in his arms, and a smile appeared on his thin lips.
He bent down slightly and his thin lips accidentally rubbed against the skin. on her forehead. His deep and alluring voice sounded unhurried. “It’s easiest for a man and a woman to go off the rails when they’re alone in the same room.”
Rachel swallowed nervously and looked at him warily. “So?”
Before he could finish speaking, the world suddenly spun for her.
A tall figure enveloped Rachel and pinned her under him.
He was on top and she was on the bottom.
Rachel looked up and was caught off guard by that pair of bottomless black eyes.
At that moment, her heartbeat and breathing seemed to be grabbed by something, completely out of her control.
Her eyes flickered slightly, and her fingertips on the man’s chest curled up slightly.
David reached out and gently brushed away the hair on her face. Then, he slowly moved them along her face and landed on her lips. When his warm fingers landed on her slightly cold lips, he gently rubbed them and hinted, “So, shouldn’t we do something?”
His question made Rachel feel a little shy and she did not know how to
answer.
David looked at the panic flickering in the depths of her beautiful eyes. The joy in his eyes grew stronger and he said, “Okay, I won’t tease you anymore. Go to sleep.”
He rolled over and lay beside Rachel, but he still hugged her domineeringly.
Rachel snuggled in his arms and listened to his strong heartbeat. She did not. feel sleepy at all.
Looking at the man in front of her, she subconsciously thought of what Old Mrs. Jones had said to her today.
Old Mrs. Jones had only used a few sentences to describe what David had experienced since he was a child, but only he knew the pain he had gone through.

Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
