Chapter 379
“I, I…” Olivia was in so much pain that her face turned pale. She looked at him with teary eyes. “The two of us were together last night. You know I didn’t have time to contact anyone else. Moreover, you also know that the necklace was lost this morning… Moreover, I treated Jane like my own sister. How could I scheme against her!”
Louis frowned. His gaze was as sharp as a knife. He wished he could pierce Olivia’s entire body.
“Louis, I love you more than myself. I know how important the Smith family is to you. Why would I sacrifice the entire Smith family to scheme against Rachel?”
When Louis heard that, the expression on his face improved slightly.
Seeing the situation, Rachel could not help but chuckle.
“Not only does Mr. Smith have poor eyesight, but his brain is also not flexible enough.” She sighed faintly. “The future of Smith Group is worrying.”
Her tone was light, but her words were filled with mockery.
Louis stood on the spot and watched Rachel leave with a frown.
“Louis…” Olivia looked at his expression and spoke carefully, “The cruise ship should dock soon. Let’s go back and pack up first.”
Louis looked at her indifferently. “You can go back first.”
With that, he pulled his arm away from Olivia and walked away.
Olivia subconsciously reached out to grab him, but she still missed.
At that moment, Lisa walked to Olivia’s side. “Olivia, where did Rachel come from?”
Lisa seemed to know everything. The plan they thought was flawless was not worth mentioning in front of her.
“Have you found out everything I asked you to find?” Olivia asked.
Lisa nodded. “Mrs. Zane is going to visit the local orphanage this afternoon. You can come along then.”
Olivia nodded.
She only hoped to get close to Mrs. Zane and help the Smith Group to get the investment from Mr. Zane.
That would at least ease her tense relationship with Louis.
Rachel returned to her room and saw David waiting with his arms open. coldness in her eyes disappeared instantly, and she smiled gently.
The
She obediently walked forward and threw herself into his arms.
Lying on his chest, she breathed heavily, feeling at ease.
“Are you tired?” David lowered his head and kissed her forehead.
Rachel, who was nestled in his arms, nodded. “A little.”
“Then close your eyes and rest for a while?” David raised his hand and gently stroked her hair.
“Forget it. It’s time to disembark later,” Rachel said. “I’ll go pack up first.”
David stated, “I’m going to take a call. See you later.”

would love to see an actual end to this story. for now it's just hanging in limbo...
Please update the chapters and complete the novel...
Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
