After hearing Olivia’s plan, Louis‘ expression softened a little. “Do you need me to go with you?” 

“No need,” Olivia took his arm and said gently, “It’s a gathering with the ladies. It’s unsuitable for a guy like you to show up.” 

“Thank you for your hard work.” 

After Rachel and David settled down in a nearby hotel, they asked their aunt, Eleanor, to go to Sophie’s house together. 

Unexpectedly, when two of them arrived, Sophie and the others were about to depart for the orphanage. 

Rachel immediately noticed Olivia. 

She was wearing a Chanel dress and holding a Hermès alligator bag. 

Her curly chestnut hair was naturally let down on both sides of her shoulders. She put on a diamond hair clip as an accessory. She was elegant yet cute. 

It did not seem like she was visiting the orphanage. Instead, it looked like she was flaunting her wealth.

Rachel’s gaze landed on the 10–cm high heels worn by Olivia. An insightful smile flashed across her gaze. 

When Olivia noticed Rachel’s presence, she could not help but lose her smile a little. Her eyes were filled with strong disgust and viciousness as she looked at Rachel. 

Sophie, the leader of the group, quickly greeted them. “I thought you’re not coming.” 

“Of course, we’re coming,” Eleanor said, “I didn’t prepare anything. Fortunately, Rae–Rae immediately went out to buy some stationery and supplies. I hope the children will like them.” 

Sophie looked up at Rachel after hearing that. There was a hint of affection and admiration in her smile. “Miss Grey, you’re very considerate.” 

“Mrs. Zane, thanks.” Rachel’s attitude was neither servile nor overbearing. “I’ll have to trouble you to show me around the local orphanage today. I hope you 

don’t find me troublesome.” 

“It’s so formal to call me Mrs. Zane.” Sophie stepped forward with a smile and held her hand. “Miss Grey, if you don’t mind, just call me Sophie.” 

Sophie had long wanted to get closer to Rachel. 

It was just that David had been keeping Rachel so close to him last night that she did not have a chance to interact with Rachel. 

Rachel was not used to being touched by strangers. She felt slight awkwardness from Sophie’s warm gesture. Then, she smiled and addressed Sophie obediently, “Yes, Sophie.” 

Sophie accepted the greeting with open arms. She looked at Rachel from head to toe. The more she looked at her, the more she liked her. She could not wait to matchmake her son with Rachel. 

As Olivia watched Rachel and Sophie chatting so happily, her eyes were filled with jealousy and unwillingness. 

Ever since Olivia found out that Stuart doted on his wife very much, she had been working hard to please Sophie. 

She had been hoping to help the Smith Group secure the investment from Stuart through Sophie. 

When she knew Sophie liked to do philanthropic work, she attended fundraising events frequently to get close to Sophie. It was through these events that she was finally in touch with Sophie.
