The whole ride was quite bumpy along the way. Olivia had asked Mrs. Zane about her well–being for several times in the car. 

Unfortunately, Mrs. Zane had long known what kind of person Olivia really was. She did not show any gratitude or affection for Olivia, but she also didn’t show her boredom. 

She was cold and distant the whole time. 

Rachel watched as Olivia kept buttering up Mrs. Zane like a ridiculous clown. Her almond eyes were filled with sarcasm when she smiled. 

Finally, they arrived at the Pollisterth district in the evening. 

When they got off the car, Olivia grabbed Rachel’s arm when no one was watching and said, “Rachel, what exactly did you say to Mrs. Zane?!” 

Rachel raised her eyebrows slightly and looked at Olivia mockingly. “To be honest, at first, I wanted to do something to prevent Smith Group from getting this investment, but now I realize that my previous worries were all unnecessary.” 

Because Olivia had ruined everything for herself and she only had herself to blame! 

Even if she did anything, it would all be unnecessary. 

“You do wanna go against me!” Olivia’s eyes narrowed slightly as they glistened coldly. 

She squeezed Rachel’s arm harder with her nails digging into Rachel’s skin. Rachel frowned slightly and grabbed Olivia’s arm, dragging it out forcefully. Olivia’s face turned pale from the pain. 

She hurriedly reached out with her other hand to grab Rachel. Before her left hand could even touch Rachel, Rachel took it and pulled it outward. 

Rachel seized both of Olivia’s arms in a very uncomfortable position. 

Olivia gasped in pain. Her face was distorted as she glared fiercely at Rachel. “Rachel, although I don’t know what despicable methods you used on Mrs. Zane to make her hate me, I’m warning you, the Smith family will definitely get this investment. If you dare to interfere, Louis will make you pay for this!” 

“You are what you see! I’m not you. Of course, I won’t use those shady methods to get my way like you.” Rachel snorted coldly at Olivia. “As for the investment that Smith Group needs, don’t even think about getting it!” 

“You do wanna go against Smith Group!” 

“Since I could help the Smith family rise again back then, I could easily destroy it bit by bit. There’s nothing more painful in this world than watching yourself losing it gradually, right?” 

Rachel slowly bent down and whispered into Olivia’s ear as her red lips went closer, “Isn’t it just like how you wanted to get back at me by stealing Louis from 

me?” 

Rachel’s tone was stone cold and sent shivers down Olivia’s spine. 

Rachel pushed her away and walked out of the car with his head held high.
