Chapter 388
Just as the two of them were about to get into the car, a silver BMW pulled over in front of them.
The car window slowly rolled down, revealing David’s handsome and indifferent face. His exquisite beauty was like a work of art.
Under the afterglow of the setting sun, the man’s side profile was covered in a layer of pale golden light like a god.
Olivia, who had just gotten out of the car, got a little enchanted when she saw David’s face.
She couldn’t believe there was such a beautiful man in this world.
But David didn’t notice Olivia at all. As he glanced at the group of people in front of him, he finally fixed his eyes on Rachel. His eyes glistened coldly and then he smiled. “Is everything done?”
Rachel nodded.
Then David opened the door and got off the car. He reached out his arms and grabbed Rachel’s tiny waist naturally, asking, “What do you wanna have tonight? French? Chinese food? Kaiseki Ryori?”
Before Rachel could say anything, Mrs. Zane and Sophie took the initiative to speak, “Mr. Jones, Miss Grey. If you don’t mind, why don’t you guys stay here for dinner tonight?”
Mr. Zane chimed in, “Yeah, I happen to have something to discuss with Miss Grey.”
Hearing that, Rachel’s eyes sparkled and she said, “Will I disturb you two?”
“Not at all,” Sophie said hurriedly, “I love learning how to cook all kinds of dishes. I’ve always hoped that someone can give me some opinions. I’ll be thrilled if guys can come.”
Rachel turned to look at David as if she was asking for his opinion.
David raised an eyebrow and said, “Whatever you say.”
Rachel smiled, “Then let’s go.”
“Mrs. Zane…” Olivia chased after Mrs. Zane hurriedly.

But Sophie knew what Olivia was up to at a glance. She gave Olivia a cold and distant smile and said, “Miss Cruise, you must have been quite exhausted after running around with us today. I think you’d better go back to the hotel and have a good rest.”
With that, she turned around and left without looking back.
With such an attitude, Mrs. Zane was obviously drawing a line with Olivia.
Olivia bit her lip, her eyes filled with unwillingness.
The Summers family from Pollister was comparable to the Johnson family from Seaxas.
The reason why the Summers family had prospered for more than a hundred years was not only because of the illustrious battle achievements of their ancestors but also because Mr. Johnson knew how to stay low–key.
When they walked into the house of the Summers family, they immediately felt the politeness and strictness of the Summers family.
They could tell that the Summers family had a strict family tradition.
“Please make yourselves feel at home.” Sophie gestured for the servant to serve them coffee
Not long after they sat down, Mr. Johnson arrived late with his walking stick. Although he was already 80 years old, he still gave an intimidating aura.
His hair had already turned grey but his eyes were still quite sharp, from which they could tell that he must be a tough guy when he was still young.
When he saw David, Mr. Johnson suddenly became quite serious and said respectfully, “Mr. Jones.”
“Mr. Johnson,” David nodded slightly.
Rachel glanced at David with a faint smile in her eyes.

Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
