Chapter 389
“Zion is the heir of the Summers family. He used to be Lucus‘ comrade in the army. After he retired from the army, he took over his family’s company. Now, he has a business partnership with your Lucas.”
Eleanor, who was sitting next to Rachel, explained, “Katy is a grown woman now. The Page family wants the two of them to hang out more.”
And they all knew the intention behind that.
Rachel looked down with a knowing smile.
This was why she didn’t see Katy in the morning. It turned out that she was busy hanging out with Zion.
Rachel had long heard of the Summers family from Pollister.
The Summers family had a wide range of industries and was one of the best in the real estate world. They bought Starling Tech a year ago and were currently focused on AI technology.
When it came to family background and status, Zion was indeed the best choice for the Page family.
But Rachel just wanted to stay out of all this and didn’t care at all.
However, her attitude did not affect the opinions of others.
When Sophie suggested showing Rachel around, Zion volunteered.
Not only was Rachel surprised, but even Sophie and Eleanor were also stunned.
And Katy looked quite upset as if she was a resentful woman whose husband had been snatched away.
“Miss Grey, are you not willing to do that?” Zion could see that Rachel was worrying about something.
Rachel was quite embarrassed and didn’t know what to do when a strange me was suddenly so extra friendly to her.
But then, someone said in a cold and deep voice from behind, “Of course, she is
not!”
Everyone looked back and saw David striding towards Rachel. He sat on the armrest of the sofa and wrapped his arm around her shoulder as if he was declaring to everyone that Rachel was his girlfriend.
“How did you…” Rachel looked at David, shocked.
She thought David was still talking in the living room and did not notice what was happening on her side at all.
Little did she know that David had been keeping an eye on her from the corner of his eye.
Especially when he noticed Zion was looking at Rachel, David immediately felt that something was wrong.
David looked down as his eyes darkened dangerously, “If I don’t come any sooner, my wife might be stolen.”
Rachel immediately flushed. She poked his waist with her elbow and reminded him quietly, “Mind your words.”
But David was too jealous to listen to Rachel’s words right now.
He tightened his grip on Rachel’s shoulder and said, “Mr. Summers, instead of thinking about stealing my girl, why don’t you look behind you?”
Hearing this, Katy stopped looking so pissed and finally smiled.
“Your girl?” Zion raised his eyebrows as his burning gaze fixed on Rachel. “As far as I’m concerned, Miss Grey is still unmarried.”

would love to see an actual end to this story. for now it's just hanging in limbo...
Please update the chapters and complete the novel...
Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
