Chapter 396
Rachel sat astride him, and the two of them faced each other.
David’s well–defined fingers gently brushed past her eyebrows and slowly landed on her lips.
He leaned down and kissed her lightly. “Do you want to take a look at Aureliana?”
Rachel frowned slightly. “When are we going?”
“It depends on your time.” David stared at her without blinking. His dark eyes flashed with a luster, and his thin lips curled into a smile. “Remember to arrange the things on hand before you go.“,
The matter at hand…
Rachel suddenly remembered that she had to bring Naomi home the following week. She sighed slightly and leaned on David’s shoulder. “There are indeed some things to deal with.”
“There’s no rush.” David gently rubbed the top of her head.
Rachel looked at him and pondered for a moment. Suddenly, she asked, “Why did you abruptly come up with bringing me to Aureliana?”
Could it be because of her problem just now?
“Rather than getting to know Aureliana through me, it’s better to bring you to understand it yourself.” David lifted her chin with his fingertips and kissed her lips again.
Their lips were attached, passionately and deeply.
The only trace of coldness left in the room could not withstand the heat that spread from them.
Rachel, who was pressed under, felt dizzy from the kiss. She instinctively and clumsily responded to David.
Rachel opened her eyes and was caught off guard by the man’s deep eyes.
The deep passion in his dark eyes was reflected in front of her eyes at this moment. It was immersed in shocking desire, like a large and deep vortex. He wished he could drag her in and trap her firmly.
Rachel’s eyelashes trembled violently.
“Rest early.” David’s passionate voice exuded a texture of gravel.
The next second, he suddenly turned around and left.
Rachel was stunned. She supported her limp body and watched David leave. “Da..”
Before she could finish her sentence, she heard the bathroom door slam shut.
Rachel blinked and lay back on the bed. She buried her head in the quilt and could not help but laugh.
When David was out of the bathroom, Rachel was already curled up in bed and asleep.
He walked in slowly and watched her curl up in a ball. He couldn’t help but reach out and gently touch her cheek.
The moment his fingertips touched Rachel, her eyes flew open suddenly.
She looked at the person in front of her with cold and vigilant eyes.
After seeing the person, the coldness in her eyes fleeted, and a hint of gentleness appeared.
“Go to sleep.” David lay beside her.

would love to see an actual end to this story. for now it's just hanging in limbo...
Please update the chapters and complete the novel...
Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
