Chapter 415
Rachel quickly changed her clothes and rushed out of the door.
“Miss Grey, Mr. Jones is waiting for you in the dining room,” Mrs. Brown greeted Rachel with a smile.
Before she could finish, Rachel walked around her and said, “Tell him that I have something urgent to attend to and I’m leaving now.”
She had just walked down the spiral staircase when she saw David waiting for her in the dining room. “Come and eat first.”
“But I…” Rachel subconsciously refused, but she saw that the food on the dining table had not been eaten. It was obvious that David had been waiting for her.
David must have seen through her inner conflict. He said, “I’ll send you there after you finish eating.”
“Fine.”
One could imagine how curious Mary and others were when David and Rachel appeared in front of them.
“Tsk, no wonder we lost contact so early in the morning.” Mary’s gaze fell on the mark on Rachel’s neck, and a meaningful smile appeared in her
eyes.
Rachel felt uncomfortable under Mary’s gaze. Rachel raised her hand and brushed her hair. “It’s getting late. Let’s go.”
“Remember to call me if you need anything,” David said.
Rachel responded, opened the door, and got into the car.
The car started, and Rachel found a comfortable position to nestle in. She took out the brown paper bag that she had prepared in advance and handed it to Linda.
“Take this.”
“What’s this?” Linda opened the brown paper bag in front of her with doubts in her heart.
Inside was a property ownership certificate and a set of keys.
“You can’t stay at Pollister any longer. I’ve helped your mother get a
breakfast shop nearby so that you can continue living in Seaxas in the future,” Rachel said.
Hearing this, Linda tightened her grip on the property ownership certificate. She suppressed the tears in her eyes. “I appreciate your kindness, but I can’t accept this.”
Rachel had helped her enough over the years.
Rachel had expected Linda to reject her, so she simply said, “Don’t thank me yet. These things are not for free. I have additional conditions.”
Linda did not say anything. Instead, she waited quietly for Rachel to finish speaking.
“I’ll deduct the money for the property and the rent for the breakfast shop from your salary every month. I also need you to sign a fifteen–year contract with Johnson Corporation. Do you agree?”
“Yes!” Linda said without hesitation.
She knew that Rachel only hoped that she could accept all of these with
ease.
However, even without this condition, she would still work at Johnson Corporation and accompany Rachel.
Mary, who was sitting beside them, finally could not hold back the curiosity in her heart. “You and David last night…”
She knew that Rachel was shy, so she did not say it too bluntly.

Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
