Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 508

Chapter 508

“Stay away from Thomas Shain from now on!” David looked down at the woman under him. His dark eyes seemed to be burning with fire, igniting the hidden desire in the depths of his eyes. “Don’t meet him, don’t go out to eat with him, and don’t go to any concerts with him!”

Hearing the three things that David forbade her to do, Rachel was even more convinced that David knew everything about her conversation with Thomas.

Rachel did not miss the flash of ruthlessness in David’s eyes.

Her intuition told her that if she really had a flirtatious relationship with Thomas, David would get rid of Thomas without hesitation.

David was not afraid of the Shain family’s prestige in Seaxas.

Rachel looked at David’s dark eyes, which were cold and sharp. She wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face in his neck. She sighed softly. “You’re David Jones. Why are you feeling flustered because of another man?”

In Rachel’s impression, David had always been rational and restrained. He was a strategist, and everything was in his control.

But now, because of Thomas, David had lost his cool.

David’s eyes narrowed slightly. His dark eyes hid an unconcealable dominance and aggressiveness. He stared at Rachel without blinking and grabbed her chin tightly with his fingertips. “Answer me.”

Rachel looked into David’s eyes fearlessly. Her pretty eyes were filled with a faint gentleness. “I have a boyfriend, so I certainly know I should avoid speculation. I also know I should keep a distance from men other than you. But you must understand that the Shain and Johnson families are old friends. Thomas and I will inevitably meet, but I can promise you that I’ll take the initiative to report to you every time he and I meet.”

As Rachel said, the Shain and Johnson families were old friends, so their relationship was naturally close.

Whether it was in business or in private, Rachel and Thomas would inevitably meet. However, when David thought about how Rachel and Thomas were childhood friends who grew up together in school, David could not help but feel jealous.

David looked at Rachel with unknown emotions surging in his dark eyes. “Do you like Thomas?”

“No way.” Rachel laughed. “At most, Thomas was just a playmate. Moreover, every time I played with Thomas, Lucas was also present.”
