Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 603

Chapter 603

Tom pursed his thin lips slightly and stared at Rachel with dark eyes.

After pondering for a long time, Tom moved his thin lips. “Have you thought it through? Even if you know that you might be in danger, you won’t regret it?”

Tom had made a deal with David in private that Tom promised would not interfere with Rachel and David’s relationship.

However, there were some things that had to be said.

Tom could not watch the unsuspecting Rachel jump into the fire pit.

“Of course. Rachel smiled, her eyes shining with determination. “Tom, you know me. I won’t change my mind easily no matter what.”

Tom stared at Rachel for a moment. “I hope you won’t regret it one day.”

Rachel said calmly. “That day will not come.”

Rachel believed in her choice and that David would never let her down in this life.

When Tom and Adrian left, Rachel secretly sent a message to Adrian, asking him to help find out more about the engagement.

When Adrian received the news, he immediately put down his arrogance as a famous lawyer and took the initiative to stick to Tom’s side. “Tom, don’t you think it’s abnormal for the old man to be so against Rae-Rae’s engagement?”

Tom lit a cigarette and said coldly, “Just ask what you want to ask.”

Hearing this, Adrian’s eyes

lit up.

Amidst the smoke, Tom’s voice sounded again. “Anyway, I won’t say anything.”

Adrian was at a loss for words.

Adrian took a moment to recover. “We’re brothers. Isn’t it a little unreasonable to hide it

from me?”

Tom’s expression was indifferent. Smoke curled around his fingertips, and his deep and cold voice was tinged with low h*arseness. “If you want to know, ask the old man yourself.”

Based on the relationship between Adrian and Rachel, as long as Adrian knew, Rachel would definitely know.

Adrian stood rooted to the ground as he watched Tom leave. Adrian could not help but roll. his eyes. Adrian quickly typed on the keyboard with his fingers as he sent a message to Rachel. “He is too tight-lipped. There’s nothing I can do.”

Rachel was not surprised at all.

Rachel put down her phone and her gaze fell on the small bottle on the table.

Rachel drummed her fingers rhythmically on the table and suddenly got up.

When Linda saw Rachel leave, Linda could not help but be stunned. “Getting off work so early?”

“There’s a special situation.” Rachel smiled at Linda and left.

Rachel was not in a hurry to return to Sandalwood Hills. Instead, she drove to a nearby florist.

The flowers in the florist made one feel happy. The fragrance was not as strong, and it was especially refreshing.

Rachel looked around, and her gaze landed accurately on the beautiful red roses. “Please wrap 99 roses for me.”

“Alright, please wait a moment,” the shop assistant said respectfully.

While the shop assistant was wrapping the flowers, Rachel looked around with her hands behind her back. Rachel’s gaze was attracted by the white bellflower under the sunlight.

The white flowers were covered in a layer of faint golden light under the sunlight. It was holy and elegant.

“What’s that?”

“Bellflowers, the shop assistant said. “Another name is the thornless rose.”

Rachel raised her eyebrows slightly. A hint of interest appeared in Rachel’s almond-shaped. eyes. “Thornless rose?”

This name was quite interesting.

The shop assistant explained patiently, “The flowering language of the bellflower is ‘I’ll only give you unchanging love. I’m very wary of this world, but in front of you, I’m willing to let go of all my defenses and hug you. Don’t you think it’s wonderful?”

“I’m willing to let go of all my defenses and hug you…”
