Betrayal At The Altar
Chapter 660
“You don’t like it?” David asked.
This was the first time he had ever proposed to a woman, so he was inevitably a little nervous.
He specially asked for Jimmy’s opinion.
But he thought that Jimmy’s idea was too exaggerated, so he prepared a candlelight dinner himself.
Rachel walked up to the table and picked up a red rose. She moved it under her nose, sniffed it, and then tugged it behind her ear. “I didn’t expect you to prepare these.”
In her impression, David was cold and abstinent, not seemed to be someone who would create romance and surprises.
David’s eyebrows shot up slightly. He walked over, pulled out a chair, and gestured for Rachel to sit down.
His deep, magnetic voice sounded in Rachel’s car, “Everything is possible.”
Rachel looked up at him.
She figured out the profound meaning behind David’s words.
He was hinting that people would change for their beloved.
If a person refused to make any changes for you, then he must not love you so much.
The evening glow reddened the sky. The sun gradually sank below the h o ri zon.
The surface of the sea rippled with light, like silver ribbons swaying in the wind.
Candlelight flickered in the yacht, making the atmosphere become ambiguous.
Rachel slowly cut her steak and looked up at the man sitting opposite her.
The dim light accentuated his well-defined face.
The shadow of the flickering candlelight reflected on his face, softening his strong aura.
“Why are you suddenly proposing to me?” Rachel had always thought that the proposal would only happen after her grandfather accepted him.
David looked up at her, curving his lips into a smile. “Since I’m bringing you back to Aureliana, I should let the others know who you are.”
In this way, he wanted to tell everyone that Rachel had him backing her up.
More importantly, he hoped that Rachel wouldn’t have to envy others when she was with him.
He wanted her to feel that every day she spent with him was wonderful and meaningful.
A trace of surprise flashed across Rachel’s eyes. “It’s so sweet! What should I do to show
“It’s very simple. I want nothing but you,” said David.
When Rachel heard this, some R-rated images suddenly appeared in her mind.
my thanks?”
Blushing, she quickly lowered her head to continue eating.
“When will you go to Aureliana with me?” David asked.
Rachel tilted her head and pondered for a moment. “How about tomorrow?”
“It’s not that urgent,” David said. “If you’re not ready, I can wait for a few more days.”
“No need. I will go with you tomorrow at the latest.”
Actually, everything was ready, but Rachel didn’t expect herself to suddenly fall ill and end up in the hospital.
David put down his cutlery, took the napkin, and slowly wiped his mouth. “Then I’ll pick you up
tomorrow.”
“Okay.”
After they finished eating, Rachel suggested going for a spin on the sea.
However, considering that she had just been discharged from the hospital and might still be weak, David decided to send her home.

Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
