Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 736

Chapter 736

Seeing that the two of them had made a bet, the men were all greatly intrigued.

That kind of excitement and joy was like seeing them fighting on the street.

Only Landon looked at David worriedly with a heavy heart.

However, he found out that David was busy looking at Rachel fondly. It seemed that no matter what kind of big trouble Rachel caused, he would think of a way to help Rachel out without any complaints.

Seeing this, Landon could do nothing but pray silently that Georgia would not look too miserable later.

“Before we begin, shouldn’t we talk about what happens if we win and what happens if we lose?” Georgia looked at Rachel with a provocative smile.

She seemed to be quite sure that she could definitely be the winner and defeat Rachel.

Rachel played with the dice with her fingertips, making a crisp sound. “The winner can do anything to the loser. How about that?”

This condition was extremely tempting.

It was equivalent to putting her own life in the other person’s hands.

The others looked at Georgia with interest.

“David, aren’t you going to talk them out of this?” Thomas kindly reminded David.

Among the people present, only Thomas did not know much about Rachel.

Therefore, he naturally thought that Rachel would lose.

David glanced at him but did not say anything.

“The onlooker was more worried than the player.” Jimmy looked at Thomas with disdain. “Even David isn’t even worried about his own wife. What are you worried about?”

Thomas was speechless.

He was just worried that Rachel would be taken advantage of!

When he came back to his senses, he glared at Jimmy. “Just shut up already!”

Jimmy grinned. “Guess that offended you.”

Previously, they had played a few rounds with Rachel at Seaxas. Anyone with a brain should know that Rachel’s “good luck” was just an excuse.

No matter how lucky a person was, they couldn’t win every single time, right?

Therefore, it was still uncertain who would win!

Georgia was not in the mood to care about the men’s conversation. Her mind was filled with the tempting conditions that Rachel had just offered.

She was so excited that she felt her blood rushing in her veins as her eyes sparkled with excitement. “You mean you’ll agree to anything I ask you to do?”

Including getting her to admit the fact that she had once married another man before David?

If that was really the case, it would save her a lot of trouble.

How could a proud person like David tolerate being fooled by a woman?

If he knew that Rachel was once married before, how would he continue to be with her?

How would he marry her after knowing that?

By then, Rachel would have completely offended David. They would never be able to be together in this lifetime!

Even if Georgia couldn’t be with David, she wouldn’t allow Rachel to be with him either!

Although Georgia tried her best to suppress the joy in her heart, Rachel could still tell what she was thinking from her

words.

She raised her eyebrows slightly and smiled meaningfully. “That’s right, as long as you defeat me.”

Defeat her…

To Georgia, this request was not difficult at all.

She lowered her eyes to hide the smugness in them.

When she was three years old, she started playing at the gambling table with her mother. When she was four years old, she started playing the dice. When she was five years old, she was familiar with the various ways of gambling in the casino. She had practiced rolling the dice for three years.

All the dice in her hands had always been her puppet in strings. There was no such thing as bad luck to her.

If she wanted one point, she would never get two points. The dice all listened to her and she was a master at rolling the dice.

It was not difficult at all to win against Rachel.

Although Georgia was confident that she would win, she had to be polite in front of everyone.

Especially when she saw David sitting opposite her. He was lowering his eyes and he looked quite calm and indifferent. She had no idea what was on his mind.

She could not figure out what he was thinking for a moment, but her fear of him made her hesitate again. She could not help but ask, “Miss Grey, do you wanna think twice about it?”

“It’s my pleasure to be able to compete with Miss Walker. What else do I need to consider?” Rachel placed the dice in her hand into the dice cup and borrowed three from David to make a total of six.

She threw the six dice into the dice cup and said unhurriedly, “Besides, even if I really lose, I wouldn’t lose to a newbie so it’s not that embarrassing.”

Hearing this, Georgia’s smile deepened.

Since she had already said so much, if Rachel really lost, she deserved it. It had nothing to do with her!

Thinking of this, Georgia’s eyes flickered with confidence. “Deal!”

In her mind, she had already imagined Rachel losing to her.

Rachel stared at her silently and smiled. “Deal.”

“Then… shall I go first?” Georgia placed a hand on the dice cup and looked up at Rachel.

Rachel nodded and said casually, “It’s all up to you.”

As soon as she finished speaking, Georgia grabbed the dice cup. She seemed to be shaking the cup randomly but there was actually a hidden intention behind every move.
