Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 788

Chapter 788

Their hearty lovemaking lasted until late at night.

Rachel’s entire body was sore and weak. She could not even be bothered to raise her fingers. She simply let David carry her into the bathroom.

Half an hour later, David carried her out.

Rachel was wrapped in a towel and snuggled in his arms.

David took out the hairdryer and ran his fingers through her soft hair, slowly blowing her long hair.

“Tomorrow, Chris will set off for Titia with you.” His tone was calm, but there was an unquestionable order in his words, making it impossible for anyone to refute.

Rachel lazily looked up at him and replied casually. “Okay.”

She leaned against his chest and played with a strand of hair hanging down to her chest with her fingertips. She did not notice David’s gaze, which was gradually becoming passionate.

It was not until the sound of the hairdryer stopped abruptly and she looked up.

Caught off guard, she met the man’s dark eyes.

There was an indescribable addiction surging in his eyes. It was like a blanketing net that wrapped around her tightly.

Rachel’s heart skipped a beat.

Before she could

react, David kissed her lips and pressed her into the sofa.

At this moment, the curtains were not closed. The weak and dim light from the window shone into the bedroom, accentuating the sensual and extravagant atmosphere.

Rachel had never known that David was so crazy about sex.

However, David was like a wolf that had starved for three days tonight. He wished he could eat her whole until not even her bones. were left.

His endless stream of tricks and astonishing stamina flipped her worldview again and again.

Even when she cried and begged for mercy, what she got in return was even more ferociousness and dominance.

She noticed that David wasn’t the only abnormal one tonight. She also noticed her abnormality.

Her body was clearly exhausted, but she was still in an excited state and was extremely greedy for sex.

Her mind went blank the moment she climaxed. Then, she fell asleep.

The next morning, Rachel woke up to the sound of the alarm.

She dragged her tired body out of bed slowly. She felt as if she had been run over by a rolling pin.

With one hand on her waist and the other on the wall, she walked out of the room with trembling legs.

When she went downstairs, she saw David sitting properly in the dining room.

He looked up when he heard footsteps behind him.

Rachel was wearing a shirt and a light-colored silk scarf around her neck.

There was a hint of charm in her eyes. There was a faint dark green under her eyelids, and her eyes were red. It was obvious that she had not slept well the entire night.

Rachel felt angry when she saw how energized David was.

She sat beside David and looked at him with satisfaction in her eyes and a faint smile on her lips.

As if sensing her resentful gaze, David put a piece of bread on the plate In front of Rachel with a fawning expression. “Thank you for your hard work.”

Rachel snorted and took a big bite of the bread.

Looking at her chewing with all her might, David felt that she was biting his flesh.

After Rachel finished eating, she dragged her luggage toward the door.

David grabbed his jacket and quickly chased after her. He naturally extended his arm.

However, before he could touch her, Rachel moved away.

She looked at him warily. “What are you doing?”

David’s outstretched hand missed its target. A helpless smile flashed across his eyes. “Are you afraid of me?”

Her eyes flashed slightly. “W-who’s afraid of you?”

With that, she turned around and left without looking back.

Watching her leave, David narrowed his eyes and quickly chased after her.

After the two of them got into the car, David extended his hand again.

Just as his fingertips touched the corner of Rachel’s clothes, Rachel reached out and slapped them away mercilessly. “Behave yourself.”

David raised his eyebrows slightly. He watched as Rachel quietly moved to the side and distanced herself from him. “If you’re not afraid of me, why are you avoiding my touch?”

Rachel raised her hand and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “I’m not avoiding you.”

Now, the unspeakable images from last night would involuntarily appear in her mind whenever she smelled the cold woody fragrance on David’s body.

As the partition in the carriage rose, David forcefully hugged Rachel, who had moved to the corner.

He hooked his arm around her slender waist and gently stroked her cheek with his other hand. “Did I hurt you last night?”

“What do you think?” Rachel looked at him.

Perhaps it was because she felt indignant or because she did not sleep well last night, but the corners of her eyes were slightly red. She looked pitiful and aggrieved, making David’s heart ache for her.

David held her cheek and kissed it. “Haven’t you thought about what happened last night?”

“You hooligan.” Rachel looked at him with disdain. “Do you think everyone is like you who spends all day with dirty thoughts in their

heads?”

“I admit that I was a little out of line, but I’m normally not outrageous,” David said. “I guess Old Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Brown have

colluded.”
