"Perfect, you're awake." Eric smiled as he peeped into the room.
"Good morning." She yawned.
Eric walked in, took a seat beside her and kissed her forehead.
"Feeling better?"
She nodded. "What time is it?" She asked.
"Thirteen minutes past ten, I wanted you to rest well which is why I didn't wake you earlier."
"Hungry?" He asked and she nodded.
"Breakfast is ready, let's go downstairs."
"Can you give me two minutes to use the bathroom?" She asked.
"Sure."
He helped her stand up, she went to the bathroom to do her business and in exactly two minutes, she was out.
"What are you doing?" She chuckled as he lifted her on her back. "I can walk, remember"
"I know. Just felt like giving you a piggyback ride." He said. she smiled, holding on to him tightly.
When they got to the dining room, he placed her on her feet. The table was already set.
Instead of Eric pulling out a seat for her, he sat down and made her sit on his lap.
"It's not fair you know." She pouted. "There are empty chairs. Why make me sit on your lap? Not that I'm complaining." She justified.
"Good. This is how we are going to have breakfast." He said then began feeding her.
After their meal, they did the dishes together before settling on the sofa in the living room to watch a movie.
"You know I'll miss you when you go back to your apartment." He said, playing with her hair with his fingers. He loved how soft and long it was. He was seated on the Sofa while Annie was lying down with her head on his lap.
"Me too." She whispered.
"Will you move in with me?" he asked even when he knew it was too soon but there was nothing bad in trying right?
Annie opened her mouth to say something but unfortunately, nothing came out.
"You don't have to reply now. Just think about it." He said, hoping she would take his offer into consideration.
The movie they chose to watch ended ten minutes ago so they decided to continue making conversations."Do you want our baby to be a girl or a boy?" Annie asked.
He smiled "A boy."
"Why?" she asked.
"Because he will look after his baby sister."
"Baby Sister?"
"Yes, Babe. I want to have lots of children with you." He said sincerely.
Annie blushed at his statement. Of course, we all know how she got pregnant with his first child which would not be the case of the second child. Her cheeks went red thinking about how baby number two will be conceived.
"But don't get me wrong. If it's a girl, I will not love her any less; the two of you will be the queens of my heart."
"You'll be an amazing Dad and if our child is a girl, she will have you wrapped around her fingers." She smiled.
"I know." He grinned. "And I'll be the only man in her life. If she's going to date anyone, He must answer to me first."
Annie laughed. Oh, how he loved to hear her laugh. "We will see about that." She smiled.
She stayed a little longer with Eric until it was a little past six pm when he drove her home.
He pulled up in her driveway and before she could help herself out of the car, he put the car on lock.
He leaned closer to her, looking into her eyes. "I miss you already." He pouted which made her chuckle. He looked so adorable so she gave him a quick kiss on his lips.
"How about you come to pick me up on Friday to spend the weekend with you?" She suggested.
"Really?" he beamed.
She nodded.
"That will be great. I will start planning on how we'll spend the weekend. I promise you it will be better than this one."
"Please take care of yourself, Don't hesitate to call me if you need anything." He said before connecting his lips to hers for a passionate kiss.
.....................
"What were you doing for more than ten minutes? I saw his car pull up in the driveway and you refused to come down." Ella teased as soon as Annie walked in.
"I think I'm regretting giving you a spare key to my house." Annie pouted.
"Whatever." Ella playfully rolled her eyes before pulling Annie into a hug.
"I miss you" Annie whispered.
"I miss you too, Boo" Ella admitted.
"But I'm mad at you." She glared at Ella, pulling away from the hug."You packed the wrong clothes for me. I know you did it on purpose."
"Oh about that." Ella grinned.
"It's not funny, Emmaunella. I had to borrow his shirt."
"Don't get so mad boo. I'm sure your body was excited to be putting on one of his shirts."
"You're so impossible. Anyways, how did it go with meeting Dylan's Parents?" She asked.
Ella blushed. "Better than I expected. His mom was so sweet and loving. She even asked me if I would like to be Dylan's wife and give her grandchildren."
"Awww. Aren't you lucky? So what was your reply?" Annie asked excitedly.
"Well, I told her I haven't given it a thought. You know, marrying Dylan and most importantly having his children. But she told me not to worry that her son loves me very much."
"I think I like her already," Annie said
"Me too." Ella giggled.
"Your turn how was it with the Ivan-James?"
Annie sighed. "A roller coaster."
They both took a seat by the kitchen counter and Annie told her everything.
Ella groaned. "I feel like strangling Lucia." Then she pulled Annie into a hug. "I'm sorry you had to go through all of that. But guess what? I'm proud of Eric. He was there for you and he even declared his love for you. OMG, he even said he would never let you go." Ella said loudly which made Annie blush.
"I knew he was into you. The way he looks at you is just so priceless. Oh, Annie, I'm so happy for you. You deserve all the happiness in the world."
.........
"Shit." Annie cursed.
