Heaven knew she had been in love with him for a very long time. It all started as a crush when she was in high school, and after high school, she was the most updated person whenever it came to any news about him.

When she first got pregnant and heard he was the father of her baby, she didn't know what to expect or how to react. It was as if fate was playing with her feelings because she couldn't imagine how someone so perfect could be tied to her.

He owned up to his responsibility, surprised her in ways she never expected and most importantly decided to give them a chance.

She, however, dreamt of something like this but the vision wasn't clear especially after she lost their first child whose memory will ever remain with them.

He was the best thing that could ever happen to her. She tried to push him away but she failed. He stood by her till she got better, assured her things will be fine and if possible, he loved her more.

How on earth does she deserve such an amazing person by her side? And here he was, on his knee, proposing to her.

Annie's eyes began to water as he spoke. There was total silence in the crowd. Everyone was eager to hear what Eric had to say.

"Now, when I begin to think of it, I cannot imagine how I lived my life without you in it all these while. Annie, you're the best thing that has ever happened to me. You give me so much joy and there is nothing more that I want than to wake up next to you for the rest of my life."

"I want you to be my other half, the mother of our future children. I want our union to be blessed before God Almighty. I want you and me to explore the world together. Honestly, I want so much more with you. You've been the Queen of my heart since the first day I watched your video. Annie Emerald Christina Davis, will you marry me?"

She replied, trying not to let her tears fall. "Yes. I'll marry you." The audience cheered. Some people were in tears as they could not get over how sweet the soon to be couples were.

Eric slipped the ring on her finger, kissed her hand and then stood to his feet.

He pulled her into a hug and whispered in her ear. "Thank you for making me the happiest man on earth."

"Oh Eric, You make me so happy. Thank you for choosing me and loving me this much."

"You're welcome, the future Annie Ivan-James." He smiled.

"I love the sound of that." She smiled and gave him a long passionate kiss.

"So," Eric started talking as he raised his glass of wine. "I just want to say I'm proud of the love of my life and I wish her many more success in this new business. Cheers to the most wonderful woman in the world."

"Cheers!!!" The Audience said as they tapped their glasses with their neighbours' own then took a sip of their wine.

"Cheers my love," Eric said as he and Annie tapped their glasses together then took a sip of their wine after which they made their way down the stage.

They were greeted with so many congratulations from their loved ones, fans and the press. Eric did not allow Annie to leave his side. They went everywhere together. Even when Annie was attending to her customers in helping them find the right shade of the products they wanted, he was there to help in any way he could. He also took personal pictures and videos of her doing her thing.

"We are sold out, babe. I'm so fucking proud of you!" Ella pulled Annie into a bone-crushing hug.

"I know. I'm so excited too. I couldn't have done it without your support." Annie said, pulling away from the hug.

"Aren't you lucky?" Ella teased as she admired the ring on Annie's finger.

"You knew about it all these while and you couldn't give me a hint."

Ella smirked."Then it wouldn't be a surprise."

"He loves you so much. Gosh, you guys are so perfect for each other."

"I know. I'm just grateful to have him in my life."

They talked a little more, Ella excused herself to go to the restroom then Annie's mom approached Annie.

"Congratulations on your engagement, my love."

"Thanks, mom" Annie returned her mother's hug.

"I have a feeling you knew about it all these while." She said and her mom affirmed by nodding.

"He came to ask me and David for your hand in marriage. That was even before the miscarriage. He wanted you to heal which was why he waited this long to pop the question. He's a good man Annie and someone like him is hard to find. Honour him, love him and cherish him. Let him know when you're bothered and not happy about something. Trust him well enough to hear his side of the story. I wish you all the happiness life has to offer my child."

"Thanks, Mom" Annie hugged her mom again

"I can't wait for us to get married," Eric confessed as he lifted her in a bridal style.

"Same baby." She replied as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"So when do you want us to get married?" He asked as he made his way into their home.

"I'm ready anytime you're ready. I can't wait to officially be yours."

When he got into the mansion, he took her upstairs to their room and made her stand to her feet.

"I'm so proud of you, babe and I have no doubt you'll achieve so much more as time goes on." He possessively snuck his arms around his waist.

"Thanks for your support." She said and then kissed him on his lips.
