Chapter 14 Embrace
"Am I a tease?" Rejoyla glanced at Georgina's short dress that barely covered her thighs and pointed at her own trousers. "Aren't you ashamed to judge me? You're not even dressed properly, showing off so much skin!"
This was outrageous. Rejoyla didn't want to trouble Jacquelyn, or she would have slapped Georgina in the face.
Georgina was furious and pushed Rejoyla, roaring, "Stop pretending! I saw you this morning. Why did you run to the third floor wearing a nightgown? You were trying to seduce Jason, weren't you? You're just a shameless tease, just like your mother!"
Everyone was shocked by Georgina's words. Did Rejoyla try to seduce Jason?
Rejoyla was also angry, blushing with embarrassment. It was hard to explain it. "Don't talk nonsense! I was just not used to the new place because I just moved here, so I wore a nightgown outside. Don't slander me!"
She was so angry that she couldn't even argue properly. Hillary and the surrounding servants were looking at her with strange expressions, making her feel even more embarrassed no matter how thick-skinned she was. Her face turned redder and her lips trembled with anger, but she couldn't do anything about it.
Georgina was not a reasonable person. She sneered and said, "Believe what you want, but I don't. Weren't you used to it? Then why did you wear a transparent nightgown and go to the third floor to find Jason? If you were used to it, would you have stripped and climbed into his bed?"
"You..."
Rejoyla opened her mouth wide in shock and wanted to use her sleeve to wipe Jason's skin cautiously, but he impatiently pushed her away, causing her to stumble and almost fall.
The servants screamed anxiously and brought towels and ice, but Jason ignored them. With his long, narrow, and dark eyes, he stared at Georgina who shivered in fear, his voice low. "You're bold! How dare you label me casually and even hit me!"
Georgina was scared and couldn't speak properly. She suddenly remembered that she had accused Rejoyla of being a tease and seducing Jason. Jason was not someone she could slander, and he had even accused her of attacking him. She slandered him indeed, but she couldn't afford the consequence of attacking him.
"No, I didn't mean it. If you hadn't rushed over, I wouldn't have hurt you. I..."
