Bride To Be Not Me (Janice and Simon) novel Chapter 104

Heidi was determined to tell Edward and Barbara that Janice was not sincere.

But since she had promised Barbara, no matter how much she disliked it, Heidi had to grit her teeth and learn the new crochet technique from Janice.

Janice sat on the side. "I'll demonstrate only once."

Heidi remained silent, her expression cold.

About ten minutes later, Janice set down the needle. "Did you see clearly? It's not difficult. It just requires patience."

Heidi crossed her arms, acting indifferent. "Sorry, I didn't see it clearly. The sunlight reflected off the window."

Janice glanced at her, then picked up the needle again. "I'll do it once more."

When she finished, Heidi said again, "Your hand was in the way. I couldn't see—"

Janice lifted her eyes. "If my hand was in the way, couldn't you have moved? You didn't see clearly? Fine. Then figure it out yourself by following what I just did. Once you've mastered it, you can leave."

"You dare restrict my freedom?"

"This is Mrs. Moore's assignment." Janice stood up and poured herself a glass of water. "If you can't complete it, that's your problem. It's not that I didn't teach—it's that you're too slow."

Heidi was truly furious now and blurted out, "It's clear now that your parents died early! Just look at your poor upbringing!"

Janice, who was sipping her water, did not react with anger. Instead, she calmly picked up her phone and tapped the screen, stopping a recording.

Seamstresses had a habit of recording their work process.

"Heidi Ryan." Janice smiled lightly. "Everyone has to pay the price for their reckless words."

Heidi's eyes twitched, but she didn't believe Janice would actually do anything to her.

Four hours later, Janice stood up. "I'm leaving."

Still focused on studying the crochet technique, Heidi didn't respond. The moment Janice left, she immediately gave Barbara a video call.
