Bride To Be Not Me (Janice and Simon) novel Chapter 211

"By the way, Heidi and Simon seem to be in Louis' captivity. Heidi has suffered a little."

If Edward were abroad, he might not have gotten this many details on the Jovarek siblings, but things were different since he was in the country and in Greenfield City no least.

"Mr. Moore, shall we give Onley Group a lesson? Now that Ms. Smith is the talk of the town, many small and medium companies—even Melody & Loops Creations—have expressed interest in working with her. I'm worried that the Onley Group might acquire these small businesses."

Edward was decisive. "Let's offer support to Refined Threads Co. But we shall keep an eye on Melody & Loops Creations for now."

After some thinking, Harrison mused, "Are you thinking of getting Refined Threads Co. to slowly overtake Melody & Loops Creations?"

Edward's decision to support Refined Threads Co. was akin to helping Janice.

"Janice can never be a pawn. And I don't want her to work with the mindset of an employee. Anyone—be it a man or woman—will feel more confident and reassured if they build enough wealth."

He knew Janice might turn down his kindness if he openly offered her his support.

Harrison seemed to get it. "I'm just worried that Onley Group might make a move…"

Edward walked into his study. He lit a cigarette and took a seat. "Whatever they plan to do, they need to do it really discreetly."

If Onley Group made any move to hurt Prosper Stitch Group in Greenfield City—and indirectly hurt Edward's personal interests—Edward would not let it slide.

He was not a saint.

In one of the villas in the neighborhood, Louis stared at the bruised and trembling woman in the chair.

"Where does Shirley Olson live?"

"It's not far away from here!" All Heidi wanted was to get out of this place as soon as possible. She had never been abused like this in her life. This group of hooligans were monsters. She silently vowed to sue them and put them behind bars!

Louis could read her thoughts when he saw her clenched fists. Smiling, he sneered, "I haven't released you after all this while. That means I'm sure you won't be able to turn the tables. If you want to live, I'd suggest you drop any funny ideas and stop moving around."

That was a warning—a threat!

She trembled from head to toe.

"You said Shirley Olson's last name was Smith. What's her first name, then?"
