Simon knew nothing about legal intricacies, and all he knew was that the result was unacceptable. He’d thought Janice had just been throwing a her money. He’d rejected her in hopes of making her yield and compromise.
But now it was clear she was serious.

His mind jumped to conclusions; Janice must’ve been involved with Edward long before this. It had to be some other big shot if not Edward. How else could she have acquired such a large sum of money?

Heldi frowned. “Let me ask around.”
After hanging up, she called her lawyer, Eden Norton. “Mr. Norton, what’s going on with Simon’s case?
Eden sighed. “It was initially manageable, Ms. Ryan. However, the other party submitted some confidential evidence to the prosecution.
“There’s nothing I can do, and all I can say is that I’ve done my best to keep the account frozen. Mr. Fitzgerald’s main request was to ensure the money wasn’t returned to the

At Prosper Stitch Group, Harrison reported his work and said, “It’s done, Mr. Moore. Simon’s accounts are frozen, and I doubt Refined Thread Co. can hold out much longer.” “Who helped him?” Edward asked.
Harrison hesitated briefly before replying, “I think it’s. Ms. Byan.”
