Chapter 86
Castiel’s face turned green.
He just lost Linde Grove, which he was determined to win! The
moment the results were announced, he smashed his phone to the ground.
During the two consecutive months of serious preparation, he had hired numerous famous designers. He had even poached an experienced design team from abroad.
However, he lost!
He didn’t lose to Blake but to his wife, Niamh.
Blake had only submitted the tender. The designs inside it were done by Niamh’s studio.
“Mr. Jamison!” Lucian called as he chased after Castiel.
Niamh and Blake shook hands.
Niamh was now very relieved. Seeing Castiel storm off in a rage, she felt her mood brighten.
“You can liaise with Nathan regarding the contract,” Blake said to Niamh.
“Thank you!” Niamh nodded.
This was her first big deal. Undoubtedly, this strengthened her confidence.
“Do you want to go for a bite?”
“Sure!” Niamh nodded. After securing such a huge deal, she should treat this major client of here to a meal.
No one would have ever thought that Niamh, who Castiel always kept
at home, would one day dive into the business industry just like him.
Castiel was in the parking lot outside.
In his mind, he had already run through a hundred ways he wanted to kill Niamh. However, when he saw her come out with Blake and even get into his car, he was so mad that he lost his composure.
Lucian and the driver had never felt closer to death. As they watched Blake’s car drive away, they felt like they were trapped in a freezer.
“Follow them!” Castiel couldn’t even hear himself clearly anymore. His handsome face had already turned a strange color.
The people in his car felt like their hearts would not be able to take it.
In Blake’s car, Niamh asked respectfully, “Mr. Field, is there a particular restaurant that you like? I rarely eat out, and I don’t know what you like either.”
In the past, when she was still with Castiel, it had always been him
who took her out.
When she tried to recall her favorite places, a bitterness flooded her
heart.
When she was living with the Jamisons, she would be happy if Castiel took her out. She didn’t even care where they went.
Thus, she didn’t even remember the flavor of the things she ate. All of her thoughts had been about Castiel.
“I’ve already made the arrangements,” Blake answered.
Niamh nodded.
Just as she was ponder what to talk about with Blake, all of a
sudden, there was a loud bang. Her body lurched forward.
A strong arm reached out and prevented her from smacking against the front seat.
The driver was shocked. Nathan looked in the rearview mirror and
said respectfully, “We’re being tailgated!”
