Dylan grabbed Hawk by the collar, his voice low and menacing. “I don’t care if you’re really Claude or just a fake–I’m warning you, don’t test my limits.”
“Limits?” Hawk remained in Dylan’s grip, unfazed and calm. He raised an eyebrow in mock curiosity. “And what exactly are your limits?”
Dylan’s gaze darkened, each word a firm declaration. “Suzy belongs to me.”
Hawk chuckled. “Mr. Wright, have you forgotten? You’re divorced. And, in case you missed it, she’s my girlfriend now.‘

Hawk’s eyes darkened, his tone chilling as he replied, “I told you–I’m not Claude. But you’re right about one thing; I am connected to him.”
He brushed off Dylan’s grip, smoothing his collar before giving Dylan a hard look. “Since you’re so interested in my identity, allow me to introduce myself. I’m Caleb Harlow, Claude’s twin brother.”
Dylan wasn’t buying it. “Twin brother? Please. That excuse might work on someone as gullible as Suzy…

Her sudden presence caught Dylan off guard and the words he hadn’t finished saying stuck in his throat.
Dylan hadn’t expected Suzy to return so suddenly. Seeing her cold expression, he realized

she’d misunderstood and quickly, though awkwardly, attempted to explain. “It was just… a comparison…”
Had he kept quiet, Suzy might not have been as upset. “Out of all the people in the world, you chose me for your ‘comparison‘?”
