Chapter 0534
“Not yet!”
“If you’re still awake, could you come to our room for a moment?”
“Sorry, but I already promised Mr. Wright that I wouldn’t get involved in anything between you and him.”
“I see.” Helena pressed her lips together before adding, “Actually, it’s not really about getting involved. I just wanted to ask you something–more like a cultural question, really. “Is it true that in your country, men and women aren’t allowed to share a room unless they’re married?”
“Who told you that?” Suzy asked, though the amusement in her voice made it clear she already knew the answer.
“Dylan!” Helena said indignantly. “He told me that men and women can’t share a room before marriage, but I think he’s lying. So, I wanted to ask you to confirm.”
“Absolutely not,” Suzy replied without missing a beat. “Not only is there no such rule in our country, but I doubt it exists in most others either. More likely, it’s just some personal issue. You know, with his leg injury–maybe he’s… struggling in certain areas.”
Helena had put the call on speaker, so Dylan heard every single word loud and clear. His expression darkened, his face nearly black with anger.
And then Suzy added, “By the way, I have some medicine for that kind of thing. If you need it, you can come by my room to pick it up.”
“Suzy!”
Dylan snatched the phone from Helena’s hand, his glare sharp enough to cut through steel. “Didn’t you say you wouldn’t involve yourself in my business anymore? Is this your idea of not getting involved?”
“The call came from Helena, so technically, I’m involving myself in her business, not yours,” Suzy replied, completely unfazed. “Besides, I’m a doctor. When a patient’s family member asks for advice, I’m obligated to provide an honest answer.”
Patient’s family member.
Helena lit up at the term, clearly delighted. “Great! I’ll come over to get the medicine right now!” she announced enthusiastically, not even bothering to reclaim her phone from Dylan as she hurried toward the door.
It wasn’t long before Helena returned, holding a small white porcelain bottle in her hand. She walked right up to Dylan, shook out a black pill, and presented it to him.

How could she say something like that so casually? Was it even possible for someone’s skin to be thicker?
And Sury–she actually gave Helena this kind of medicine! Just how eager was she to see him and Helena take their relationship to the next level?
“I’m not sick,” Dylan said flatly, his expression unchanging as he looked at Helena. “I’m just not interested in you.”
