The man’s gaze, eerily similar to Claude’s, was enough to make anyone second-guess.
But to Suzy, the situation felt too suspicious.
If this man was truly Claude, why go to such lengths to steal the ashes?
Everything he had done seemed deliberately designed to make her believe it was Claude.
If Claude wasn’t dead, then the ashes must have been fake. And if they were fake, why bother stealing them?
It would have been easier to let her verify their authenticity and confirm it for herself.
No matter how much this man resembled Claude, Suzy was convinced he wasn’t him.
Her eyes darkened, and without hesitation, she threw a punch directly at the man’s face. "If you want to drag me to hell, let’s see if you have what it takes!"
The man hadn’t expected this.
Despite everything he had said, Suzy still didn’t believe him. "Suzy, it seems you won’t believe the truth until it hits you like a freight train!"
He wasn’t one to back down. The moment Suzy attacked, he recovered quickly and countered.
The two clashed fiercely, exchanging blows with unrelenting intensity. Amidst the fight, Suzy let out a laugh. "I knew you weren’t Claude, and now you’ve proven it!"
No matter how well someone impersonates another, a fake will always slip up.
Suzy and Claude were trained under the same mentor, and their fighting styles were nearly identical. But this man’s moves were entirely different.
