"You said ‘shouldn’t,’ but what if something does happen? Would you blame me for not doing enough?" Suzy’s tone was sharp.
"No matter how skilled I am, there’s always a risk.
"If something were to go wrong, the consequences would be irreversible. You should think this through carefully."
Without waiting for a response, Suzy approached the fake Charlotte.
"In any case, let me check your pulse first and see how things look."
"Yes, yes, that’s a good idea," Timothy quickly agreed.
Suzy pretended to check Charlotte’s pulse, her expression neutral as she confirmed the truth—Charlotte was pregnant.
So, from the very beginning, this woman had a plan.

"Your pulse is a bit unstable," Suzy said, keeping her voice even.
