Suzy couldn’t possibly refuse Diana’s invitation.
After all, it was tied to the safety of the real Diana.
Without any hesitation, she replied: “Send me the address.”
The response came almost instantly, a clear indication that the other side anticipated her reaction and prepared everything in advance.
Following the address provided, Suzy went alone.
The conditions had been set and she had to comply. Otherwise, the consequences could be catastrophic, possibly endangering the real Diana even further.
Her nerves were on edge the entire way.
But when Suzy finally saw the person waiting for her, she realized with growing unease that she couldn’t tell if the woman in front of her was truly Diana or not.
“Why are you looking at me like that? It’s only been a few days, and you don’t recognize me anymore?” Diana’s expression carried a mix of amusement and mockery.
“Don’t tell me you’re like my brother, thinking I’m a fake?”
“Who are you?” Suzy demanded, her voice steady but laced with suspicion.
Despite the striking resemblance, she couldn’t believe this was really Diana.
The real Diana would never behave this way.
“What kind of question is that?” Diana rolled her eyes dramatically.
“I’m calling you sister-in-law, and you’re asking me who I am? What’s wrong with your eyesight—both of yours, actually?”
As she spoke, Diana stepped closer and patted her own face. “Take a good look. I’m Diana Wright, the real deal!”
“Impossible!” Suzy shot out a hand to grab her face, wanting to check for any disguise or mask, but the woman dodged her easily.
“Sister-in-law, what are you doing?” Diana took a step back, her expression a mix of offense and amusement.
“Are you trying to hit me? Or maybe you’re checking to see if I’m wearing a mask?”
“If you’re truly Diana, why did you dodge just now?” Suzy pressed forward, her gaze sharp.
