CEO Broke Down and Cried After I Divorced Him novel Chapter 752

Elliot moved in the same unnatural way.

Suzy stood still, waiting until he was close enough.

Then, with swift precision, she looped a thin silver wire around his neck.

Holding the wire tightly with her left hand, she used her right hand to quickly press several acupoints on his body.

Frozen in place by the technique, Elliot could no longer move.

He gnashed his teeth, emitting guttural, inhuman sounds, like a puppet entirely under someone else’s control.

“Elliot Hayes,” Suzy called his name firmly.

“Look into my eyes.”

But her voice seemed to have no effect.

He didn’t react, no matter how many times she called him.

“Elliot Hayes,” Suzy repeated, her tone sharper. “I am your mentor, and I command you. Look into my eyes!”

The word mentor seemed to strike a chord.

For the first time, there was a faint flicker of recognition, though it wasn’t strong.

Suzy’s gaze deepened. “Elliot, do you remember what I told you when you first became my apprentice? Do you remember how you promised me, your mentor?”

The words mentor and apprentice seemed to be the key. Suzy repeated them over and over, using them to anchor him.

She didn’t know how many times she said it, but eventually, Elliot’s thrashing subsided, and his eyes started to regain focus.

Seeing this, Suzy pressed on. “Elliot, look at me…”

Slowly, Elliot’s gaze shifted to her face.

He could finally hear her, but his expression was still one of confusion, as though he didn’t recognize her.
