Back at Hillside Villa, Dylan saw Suzy carrying Diana on her back.
His brows furrowed sharply. “What’s going on? You went to find Elliot, so why are you bringing Diana back instead?”
Suzy glanced at him briefly. “Let me get her settled first, then I’ll explain.”
She carried Diana to her private medical room and gave her the last remaining pill in her possession.
It was a rare life-saving medicine capable of healing severe injuries in an instant.
This was her only pill, the result of years of research and experimentation. It contained an ingredient so rare that even searching the entire world might not yield another.
Despite its value, Suzy didn’t hesitate for a moment to use it on Diana.
After administering the pill, Suzy ensured Diana was set to rest and ordered someone to stay by her side at all times.
Once satisfied, she went to find Dylan.
“The reason you were poisoned is that someone impersonated Diana and drugged you. The real Diana was hidden away by them…” Suzy explained everything in detail.
“When I went to look for Elliot, I got a call directing me to save Diana instead…”
The more Dylan listened, the darker his expression became, until by the end, his face was practically black with anger.
“That person mentioned an organization called F?”
“Yes,” Suzy confirmed quickly. “Do you know anything about it?”
“I don’t. I’ve never heard of it before,” Dylan admitted.
Suzy frowned deeply. “I thought you might know something! I’ve never heard of it either. What kind of mysterious organization could it be?”
Dylan’s confusion mirrored hers.
“You’ve been an assassin for so many years; surely you’d know of most organizations out there. Are you certain you’ve never come across it?”
Suzy raised an eyebrow at him.
“What are you implying? You’re the leader of the Yellowtail Squadron, aren’t you? You have access to global intelligence on every known group. How could this one slip under your radar?”
