When Suzy heard that Elliot had been found, she immediately asked, "How’s his condition?"
Allen replied, "For now, it seems stable. He’s unconscious, but other than that, his vital signs are normal."
Hearing this, Suzy finally let out a breath of relief. "Where are you now? Do you need me to come pick you up?"
"No need. We’re already on our way back. I just called to let you know so you wouldn’t worry," Allen said, then asked, "How’s your side? Everything alright?"
"Diana’s been found as well. Her condition is mostly stable now.”
"Good to hear," Allen said, relief evident in his voice.
After hanging up, Suzy headed downstairs to wait for Allen to return with Elliot.
When Dylan saw her come down, he looked less than pleased. "I told you to rest."
"Allen is bringing Elliot back," Suzy explained. "I need to check on him as soon as they arrive."
At the mention of Elliot, Dylan’s expression darkened. "Suzy, if Elliot insists on you helping him detoxify…"
Before he could finish, Suzy cut him off, already guessing where his concern was heading.
"Dylan, relax. Even if Elliot wanted me to help him that way, I wouldn’t. He’s my apprentice, nothing more.
"Besides, I’ve already developed an antidote. There’s no need for any… alternative methods to cure him."
Just then, something dawned on Suzy, and her expression shifted. "Wait, the antidote—I left it in the clothes I just changed out of!"
Worried the housekeeper might have washed the clothes, she hurried back upstairs to check.
However, after searching everywhere, the antidote was nowhere to be found.
The clothes hadn’t been touched by anyone, but the antidote was gone.
