Hailey smiled, not believing this was her life now. She took a glance at the ring on her finger and smiled even more. “It looks like it was made for me. Fits perfectly and the stones are so precious.” 

Cole smiled shyly, playfully itching the bridge of his nose. “Took your measurements while you slept soundly. I’m glad you love it. We can have the wedding whenever you want it and wherever in the world you want us to have it.” 

Hailes nodded, still smiling. “Thank you for being sweet to me.” 

Cole snuck his hands around her waist. “Anything for you, my love.” He stole a kiss from her. 

“Now I get it. This was why you were nervous at the dining table?” 

Cole blushed. “I know you like me but I was so scared.”

Hailey laughed out loud. She brought her hands up and wrapped them around his neck. “Thank you for being thoughtful and for always making me smile. To think I almost didn’t want to come on this trip.” Hailey was saying, then it hit her. “Does Debbie by any chance know about this?” 

Cole nodded. “I had asked for her blessings. I also got permission from your mom too. I gave her my word that I was going to take good care of you in a way she will be so proud of.” 

“You visited my mom’s grave?” He could see her starting to tear up. 

Cole nodded. “I want to do things right and that includes seeking the blessings of those who mean the world to you.” 

Hailey nodded, sniffling. “I was too lazy to pack yesterday but Debbie made sure I did. And I’m glad you met Mom too. She must be so proud that I made the right decision in picking a good man.” 

Cole stared at her with so much adoration in his eyes. “I’m the one that’s lucky to have you in my life as my woman and the mother of my children.”

“You are a good man too, Cole. Yeah, you messed up. But we are all not perfect. What makes you attractive is you owning up to your mistakes and trying to be a better man. I’m glad my sons have a good role model to look up to and our daughter is going to be very proud to have you as her Daddy. Thank you for always trying to be a better person for us. Cole smiled. “This is the first time I’ve heard you say that.” 

Hailey blushed. “I’ve always loved you. I just get so shy voicing it out. But now, it makes no sense keeping it to myself.” 

“I love the sound of that. And I’m glad you don’t think ill of me. I’ll continue to do my best to make you and our children happy.” 

“I trust you and I love you.” She tiptoed and kissed him. Cole took advantage of the situation and deepened the kiss. 

With his lips against hers and hands on her body, Cole guided her towards the bed. Hailey smiled against his lips knowing it was going to be a long romantic night. 

The Next Morning. 

“If I knew you were going to love that piece of jewelry more than me, then I think I would have given you something else.” Cole’s hoarse voice came through. 

Hailey chuckled, looking up at him. “Jealous?” 

“Yes.” Since they were both naked under the duvet, with their legs intertwined, Cole caressed her boob, making
