Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 1064

Judith's face stiffened momentarily, then she pursed her lips, her nails almost digging into her palms.

Someone suggested they start setting up the BBQ now, have a few drinks later, everyone rest up, and set off at six in the morning.

This proposal made the atmosphere on site less awkward.

Maja also walked over to Ian.

She felt Judith's gaze on her, dark, jealous, terrifying.

She found it strange. Judith already had the best background in the world, why was she still unsatisfied?

Outside, servants were already starting to set up the BBQ grills. Normally, those wealthy kids didn't eat this stuff, but when youngsters go out for a cookout, it's only natural to go local.

Maja wasn't feeling well tonight. She had Ian repeat the precautions for this trip and stayed inside, not participating.

If she didn't go, Ian didn't go either.

Then Tyler came in, calling, "Ian, what will you have? We have a professional chef grilling seafood. Won't you and Maja have some?"

At the mention of seafood, Maja perked up and got up to take a look outside.

In just a short time, all sorts of fresh seafood had been thrown into the vertical pool.

All sorts of things, all air-shipped by helicopter.

Even though it was a cookout, these young masters wouldn't possibly shortchange themselves. The food was all top-tier.

Maja had her eye on a king crab, and she had heard that it was very tasty grilled with the crab roe.

When she was with the Pennyfeather family before her father remarried, the Christmas' Eve dinner was always well prepared, but halfway through, her father would get a call for a meeting and leave in a hurry.

Just as she was about to point to the king crab in the tank, she heard Judith speak.

"This one is mine."

Unfortunately, all the other king crabs had already been claimed. Only this one was unassigned.

The two specially hired chefs, including other people's king crabs, had already started grilling.

Judith stepped forward, sneering, "Are you trying to take this opportunity to taste everything you haven't eaten before?"

This was mocking Maja's origin, mocking her lack of worldliness.

Maja found it funny. Her gaze fell on Judith, for the first time, she took a good look at Judith.

"Ms. Sanders."

Her tone was calm, not at all angered, "Birth is not something I can choose. In this regard, I do indeed fall short of you, but apart from family conditions, Ms. Sanders may not necessarily be better than me in other aspects."

"You!"

Judith has had a weak constitution since she was little, often fainting at school. Also knowing she was the precious treasure of the Sanders family, she would not endure hardship to learn other things. Hence she cultivated a delicate character. But there's no helping it. Who made her born into a good family?

She chuckled lightly, the corners of her mouth curving up, her gaze shifting to Ian, who was chatting with Tyler not far away.
