As soon as he left, she unleashed her fury with three vicious strikes of her whip.

She didn't even wait for Maja to regain her footing, clearly intent on making her unable to dodge.

"Does it hurt? Right now, you're no better than a dog. Even if you're dying in pain, you can't make a sound. Don't worry, I'll make sure you keep breathing.
