Silver was cursing angrily the phone. 

He thought it would be easy to control Maja, but the result was unexpected. If he couldn’t reach a private settlement with Maja and let the police dealt with it according to normal procedures, he would definitely be exposed to the public, and the company’s reputation would also be ruined by then.
