Her heart ached once more as she hung her head, listening to Nathan's continuing tirade.
They both knew each other's intentions all too well.
She was aware of Nathan's desires, and he knew of her games—they were simply using each other.
She wanted to lift her hand to massage her temples, but Nathan beat her to it, placing his fingers gently there.
After a long moment, she agreed.
"Fine, let's elope then. Just hope you'll have the guts when it's time."
"I will."
When Carol was sent back, she saw that the wedding dress had already been delivered to the villa.
Felix and the designer were there, taking measurements of the dress and coordinating it with the venue's setup.
Carol had imagined trying on wedding dresses with Felix, but a call from Listina had pulled him away, leaving her to try them on alone.
The designer's eyes lit up when he saw her.
"Ms. Miller, care to try it on again? We've made quite a few subtle changes."
Truth be told, the dress was stunning; it was said to incorporate elements from fairy-tale mermaids.
Yet, Carol had no desire to try on the dress. She offered the designer a polite smile and headed upstairs.
The designer looked at Felix’s expressionless face, and quietly continued his work.
At ten o'clock, after Felix had taken care of all his affairs, he followed her upstairs.
When Carol found herself under him on the bed, she frowned in discomfort.
It had been like this for days, and since she couldn't resist, she tried to detach herself instead.
Just as she was about to drift off from exhaustion, a cool sensation suddenly wrapped around her wrist.
Opening her eyes, she saw a beautiful bracelet locked in place—and the key was with Felix.

Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
When will the author update to finish Beck's story? What about Dylan and Tyler's love lives? Also, I'll like the author to write on Wilma and Elvis ending up together as she was quite persistent in pursuing him. And Shawn's story, Cornelia Sullivan and Omar Casson.
