The moment the words were spoken, the atmosphere in the room suddenly became awkward. 

Holding his cup, lan took a casual sip of his coffee. 

Maja, on the other hand, was momentarily flustered by the question. 

But she quickly composed herself, lowered her eyes and said nonchalantly, “Yes, I did go out for a night without returning home. My husband 

called me.” 

As she said this, she turned to look at Fannie with a slight smile. 

This was the first time Fannie had heard of her being married. She felt a little embarrassed and realized her previous prejudice was somewhat 

ridiculous. 

She coughed lightly and heard Felton speak up at that moment. 

“Fannie, you owe her an apology. You can’t just say things like that. Good thing Penny is easy-going and didn’t take it to heart”

After dinner, when they were about to leave, Maja received a phone call from Susan. She was stuttering, so Maja knew something was wrong 

“What happened?” 

“Maja, are you coming back?” 

Maja had a feeling that this was related to Leo. She frowned, “Yes, I’m coming back today.” 

Susan hesitated for a while before finally sighing, “I didn’t want to disturb you, but I had no choice: Leo got into a fight and sent someone to the hospital. Our whole family is trapped in the house by those people. They outnumber us… 

With that, Maja laughed out of frustration. But after all, Susan was her relative. 

“Why did Leo get into a fight? Where is he now?” 

Susan glanced at Leo, who was smoking in the corner, and lowered her voice. 

“He’s smoking. Oli hasn’t come back either, and I can’t reach her. Maja, I don’t know what to do.” 

As soon as she finished speaking, a commotion could be heard outside. The neighbors had all gathered to watch.
