tan’s face was cold as ice, his brows furrowed in seriousness. This stoic look only made him seem more mysterious and quite allung. 

Fannie’s heart raced as she looked at him, her cheeks flushing a rosy hue. Then he said, “I have Jeff take you home.”. 

Fannie’s face fell at his words, her eyes quickly welling up with

“Don’t think I didn’t notice, you met Penny in the restroom during dinner” 

lan had left the table, and Fannie had followed him, witnessing the two of them standing at the restroom door 

The vibe was clear. Something was up. The atmosphere had only cooled further when fan returned to the table, especially after overhearing Penny’s phone call. 

Fannie felt uneasy, but she couldn’t figure out what could be going on between the two. 

“So what?” He stood in the doorway, cold and distant.

“She is already married, isn’t she? I think she’s trying to lure you in

“So, whether or not I’m attracted to her is none of your business, Jeff will take you home.”

lan rubbed his temples, retreating back into the room and shutting the door behind him. When Jeff arrived, he brought with him a pile of new documents 

“Mr. Raymond, Samuel from EliteEdge called. He said. 

lan took out his pen, scanning through the documents, “What did he say?” 

“He asked if he could pursue your wife if you didn’t like her or want to deal with her.” 

Samuel was a real jerk, thinking of pursuing someone else’s wife and having the audacity to inform her husband 

lan was amused by his audacity, picturing Samuel’s pretentious face. The man had no standards when it came to women, and he was quick to switch targets. 

“Let him be.” 

He said coldly, not missing a beat, “If he can make my wife fall for him and divorce me, I’ll be more than happy.” 

That way, no one would be bothering him all the time. 

Jeff bowed his head in silence, thinking how much lan despised his own wife. 

“Mr. Raymond, here’s tomorrow’s schedule. Once we’re done, we can go home.” 

The project’s kick-off was pretty much settled, but since it was a government collaboration, lan still had to make a few more visits 

“No rush. We’ll go back in two weeks” 

Otherwise, Holden would stir up new problems again. 

“But Ms. Shepard has already booked a flight for the day after tomorrow. She couldn’t reach you on the phone tonight, and she wanted to have dinner with you.”
