Chapter 890
Nydia chuckled softly, shaking her head.
“Young folks always think they know best. You’ll see, she said.
lan strolled into the nearby cloakroom, emerging in a sleek suit.
Only then did Nydia realize that lan had grown up. The awkward boy from the past was long gone.
He was tall and muscular. She remembered his first debut in the fighting ring, almost getting mauled to death by the beast he was pitted against.
Barely holding it together, he had gouged out the animal’s eyes.
Ever since then, whenever he appeared with his mask, he was never a sight for sore eyes.
Everyone knew Barlow, but nobody knew the pitiful boy behind the mask before Barlow.
Nydia sighed.
“Alright, I won’t do that again. But listen to an old hand here, be careful, she advised.
lan buttoned his cufflinks, his image returning to its usual elegance and aloofness, a stark contrast to his brutal persona in the ring. It was like he was two different people.
“She’s great, except for the part where she dislikes me,” he said.
They also had quite the chemistry in bed, especially her legs, so long and shapely, they were quite the eye candy.
Her waist was so slim he could wrap his hands around it.
“Nydia, I need to head back, he told Nydia.
“So soon?” Nydia was surprised. Wasn’t he planning to spend the night?
lan had flown in just to expend his energy in the fight. Now that he had cooled off, he didn’t seem to want to stick around.
As he left, Nydia told him, “Next time you come, bring herjalong.”
Jan paused, his tone indifferent. “Even if I have to drag her here, she’ll have no choice but to like me,” he said.
She had said he wasn’t even a patch on that other guy.
He’d like to see what kind of man she was into.
Maja called Jeff, but he was tied up and asked her to pick up Coco another day.
With no choice, Maja headed back to her office.
But the moment she stepped into the lobby, she spotted Darlene.
Darlene was dressed to the nines in luxury brands, even toting a $50,000 Hermes bag.
She had been floored when lan had handed her a million–dollar cheque last time at Greenfield Gardens. She never knew the rich lived so lavishly, throwing around sums that could buy a house.
She was desperate to impress lan, to attract him, to please him.
But lan wasn’t here these past few days, not even answering her calls.
So, Darlene had come to flaunt her wealth and status to Maja.
“Ms. Pennyfeather, fancy meeting you here,” Darlene greeted, taking off her oversized glasses.
She had gotten a haircut, her hairstyle now identical to Maja’s.
With her features already somewhat resembling Maja’s and her makeup now enhancing the likeness, the resemblance was uncanny.

Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
When will the author update to finish Beck's story? What about Dylan and Tyler's love lives? Also, I'll like the author to write on Wilma and Elvis ending up together as she was quite persistent in pursuing him. And Shawn's story, Cornelia Sullivan and Omar Casson. Also, a little write-up on Jeff (Ian's assistant) love life, too. Thanks, author for updating....
When will get update?...
