When Blaze heard "ex-husband," his face darkened even more. He reached out to hold Astrid's small hand.

"Apologize to Astrid, Lilith,” Blaze demanded.

“| won't!"

Lilith gritted her teeth in anger. Astrid was a low country girl. She dropped out before finishing high school and now became a well-known designer. How could it be possible?

Astrid felt uneasy having her hand held by Blaze. She wanted to shake it off, but he wouldnt let her.

'He always gets on my nerves whenever he sees me; Astrid thought to herself.

Lilith got enraged when Astrid revealed her mind. Her little face flushed in embarrassment.

Lilith was so humiliated but couldn't do anything about it. Astrid felt great to see her like that.

Asimple girl like Lilith was no rival for Astrid.

"Lilith, I'm running out of patience here,’ Blaze said.

Blaze was still holding Astrid's small hand. He liked it this way. Her hand was so soft and tender.

“You were pretty rude just now, Lilith."

Lilith flinched when she met Blaze's cold eyes.

Astrid flicked her hair. She was a pretty woman, and that movement made her even more charming.

Blaze looked at Astrid. He knew she was being wily like a little fox.

She was never a pushover.

Astrid kept trying to shake her hand off, but Blaze only held it even tighter.
