Natasha wasn't stupid. Seeing Nicole's aggressive approach, she knew she had to remain vigilant and evade her.
However, the people standing beside her seemed to have coordinated their movements. They formed a wall with their bodies, trapping Natasha in place.
Nicole had been waiting for the chance to get back at Natasha for the slap last time. Now, she finally had it.
As Nicole's hand drew nearer, Natasha braced herself, clenching her jaw and shutting her eyes tight.
If she only knew which lowlife was grabbing her hands, Natasha swore she would make them regret it.
A deep, resonant voice sliced through Natasha's thoughts, the question hanging heavily in the air. "Is this the Bradley family's way of raising their daughters?"
It sounded so familiar, too familiar. When Natasha opened her eyes, her gaze remained fixed on him.
Henry immediately rushed between them. Zachary furrowed his brows in disdain before swiftly releasing Nicole's wrist.
The force of his grip made Nicole stumble slightly.
Matthew quickly stepped forward, offering his support and muttering in frustration, "Uncle Zachary, what's going on? Why are you still protecting that woman?"
With his words, a sharp slap echoed through the room.
Matthew's lip bled where the strike had landed, showing how hard Zachary had hit him.
"Shut up! Do you even know who started all this? If you're unclear, I can play the video again for you to refresh your memory."
Zachary's words and actions spoke volumes, making it clear who was in the wrong.
Someone muttered, "So it's Matthew and Nicole getting together first. No wonder they're trying to twist the truth."
"Mr. Zachary usually doesn't get involved in these petty matters. Why is he supporting Ms. Natasha now?"
The whispers and speculation continued, but Natasha couldn't care less.
Zachary's broad back shielded her from the judgmental eyes, pushing the hostile glares away.
"This whole situation is embarrassing. The wedding can't continue like this. Uncle Steven isn't feeling well and won't be staying," Zachary said.
